The Schmidt Surgery Center Center connected to Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital combines patient comfort, access to the latest surgical technology, and safety. In the event of an emergency due to an unforeseen medical issue during surgery, acute care hospital resources and trained personnel will respond immediately. Minutes can mean the difference between life and death so being connected to a hospital is crucial. When a patient experiences an emergency at a free-standing surgery center, staff must spend precious time calling "911" and waiting for an ambulance to transport that patient to the nearest hospital.
Free parking is available for patients and visitors. For those who need it, free valet parking is available upon request from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). Please park under the canopy and check in with the receptionist for assistance.
